Position Overview

Trinity Healthcare Talent Services is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a Long Term Care assignment in Potosi, MO.

This role involves working under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care focused on improving mobility, strength, and overall function.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans under the direction of a Physical Therapist

• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, ambulation, and mobility training

• Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to supervising PT

• Utilize modalities and assistive devices as part of care plans

• Educate patients and families on rehabilitation techniques

• Maintain accurate documentation and treatment records

• Participate in care planning meetings and interdisciplinary collaboration

Requirements

• Active Missouri PTA License

• Minimum 1 year of PTA experience

• LTC or Rehab experience REQUIRED

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Assignment Details

• Monday–Friday schedule (8-hour shifts)

• Flexible start times (must be consistent with DOR)

• No call

• No weekends (unless making up time for holiday schedule)

• LTC patient population
