Position: Speech Language Pathologist Salary Range: $40-42 per hour Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday (no weekend rotation) Experience Level: Not open to new graduates Facility: 77 bed Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at our 77 bed Skilled Nursing Facility. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive evaluation, treatment, and education to patients with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough evaluations to assess speech, language, communication, and swallowing abilities of patients - Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and patient needs - Provide evidence-based therapy interventions to improve speech, language, communication, and swallowing skills - Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated and effective patient care - Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies to improve communication and swallowing abilities - Document patient progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with facility policies and procedures - Stay up-to-date with advancements in the field of speech language pathology and incorporate new techniques and technologies into practice Qualifications: - Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program - Current state license or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist - Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred - Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting - Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations and documentation requirements - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
