Position: Data Automation Consultant

Company Overview:

Trisian-Global Consulting LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Automation Consultant to work 10 - 20 hours per week.  This is a remote position with flexible hours.  Must be US Citizen or Green Card Holder with Power BI, DAX, Smartsheet and experience using CAPS (Centralized Accounting Processing System) 

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement automated data workflows that reduce manual processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Design and implement enterprise-scale reporting environments using Smartsheet and Power BI.
• Develop executive dashboards, KPI frameworks, and portfolio reporting solutions that provide real-time operational visibility.
• Build governed Power BI semantic models using DAX, Power Query, and role-based security to support enterprise analytics and secure data distribution.
• Analyze financial and operational business processes to identify opportunities for automation and optimization.
• Utilize CAPS (Centralized Accounting Processing System) or similar financial systems to support financial data automation and reporting.
• Translate business requirements into scalable data automation solutions.
• Maintain and optimize reporting infrastructure and automation processes.
• Provide technical guidance and best practices for data governance, documentation, and reporting standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data and automation issues to ensure consistent system performance.
• Lead or support enterprise automation and analytics initiatives.
• Train business and technical users on Smartsheet and Power BI platforms to improve adoption and self-service analytics.
• Collaborate with finance, operations, and technology teams to deliver data-driven solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data automation or a similar role
• Experience with business intelligence tools such as Smartsheet, Power BI or similar platforms.
• Experience designing and implementing data automation and reporting solutions.
• Experience working with financial data, finance operations, or financial reporting environments.
• Experience using CAPS (Centralized Accounting Processing System) or similar financial systems.
• Strong experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools.
• Experience working with data integration, data transformation, and reporting systems.
• Ability to analyze complex business processes and identify automation opportunities.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
• Experience with workflow automation platforms.
• Knowledge of data integration, ETL processes, or scripting for automation.
• Experience supporting enterprise analytics, reporting modernization, or digital transformation initiatives.
