Our client is a fast-growing tech and digital services provider within the iGaming industry, focused on delivering exceptional, data-driven player experiences across multiple markets.
As part of their continued growth, they are looking to hire a CRM SMS Deliverability Lead to take full ownership of SMS channel performance, ensuring reliable, compliant, and high-impact communication at scale.
The Role
As the CRM SMS Deliverability Lead, you will be the go-to expert for everything related to SMS performance, infrastructure, and compliance.
This is a critical role where you'll combine technical expertise, data analysis, and CRM knowledge to maximise deliverability, optimise engagement, and protect sender reputation across all markets.
You will work closely with CRM, Product, and external providers to ensure SMS remains a high-performing and scalable acquisition and retention channel.
Responsibilities
- Own and optimise SMS deliverability performance across all markets and brands
- Manage relationships with SMS providers and aggregators, ensuring optimal routing and cost efficiency
- Monitor key metrics including delivery rates, latency, bounce rates, and spam filtering
- Implement and maintain best practices for sender reputation, number management, and traffic distribution
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and telecom requirements (opt-in, opt-out, GDPR, etc.)
- Collaborate with CRM teams to optimise message content, timing, and targeting for better engagement
- Troubleshoot deliverability issues and proactively identify risks or inefficiencies
- Run A/B tests on send strategies, content formats, and delivery timing
- Provide reporting and insights on SMS channel performance and improvement opportunities
- Support expansion into new markets from a deliverability and compliance perspective
Requirements
- Proven experience in SMS deliverability, telecom operations, or mobile messaging within iGaming or similar high volume B2C environments.
- Strong understanding of SMS infrastructure, routing, sender IDs, and filtering mechanisms
- Experience working with SMS providers (e.g. Infobip, Sinch, Twilio, or similar)
- Familiarity with global compliance and regulatory frameworks for SMS communications
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Experience working closely with CRM or marketing teams
- Ability to manage multiple markets and stakeholders simultaneously
- SQL or data querying skills are a strong advantage
- Availability to work full time from the office in Valencia.
