Our client, a well established operator, is expanding its team and seeking for a Regulatory & Product Compliance Officer, to make sure the company remains compliant with all current and future license requirements
Responsibilites;
Product
- Responsible for managing and delivering the annual certification roadmap, including all inhouse (CORE) games as well as Masters Partner games;
- Monitoring the release process of games, and providing ad-hoc product compliance related support throughout the process;
- Take part in the day-to-day product certification process to ensure product certifications are delivered according to plan;
- Implementing and updating the technical compliance processes;
- Reviewing remote technical compliance standards from various jurisdictions and assessing, applying and implementing the standards on companys products as applicable;
- Being a point of contact for licensing authorities and test labs in technical compliance related queries;
- Responsible for maintaining and submitting up-to-date technical documentation to licensing authorities and operators;
- Provide day-to-day support and technical compliance advice to other departments/functions;
- Proactively create strong, fruitful and long-lasting regulatory relationships with key regulatory stakeholders.
- Keep internal technical documentation and registers up to date;
- Identify and drive continuous improvements to the compliance process to increase efficiencies, visibility, and quality.
Regulatory
- Ensure that the company maintains its current licenses, including the Great Britain, Malta, Gibraltar, Isle of Man, Romanian, Greece, Swedish, Danish and Belgian licenses, by remaining compliant with all obligations imposed on the company under such licenses held;
- Manage the day-to-day compliance activities under such licenses by carrying out the mandatory reporting tasks, filing of annual returns, payment of license fees as well as all ad-hoc requests and communication in relation to the regulatory authorities;
- Monitor the regulatory developments in prospective/targeted jurisdictions and assess, and communicate to the wider organization, all relevant regulatory changes affecting the company;
- Provide day-to-day support and gaming compliance advice to the companys commercial function by analysing, assessing, and otherwise evaluating new markets targeted by the company, and/or markets where new licensing regimes are being planned or introduced;
- Manage and drive the process and project of acquiring new licenses and/or entering new jurisdictions, as applicable, by the company.
- Keeping internal compliance documentation and registers up to date;
- Reviewing Remote Technical Standards documents and performing gap analysis;
- Liaise between the company, and the applicable regulatory authorities, and respond to regulatory authorities enquiries and requests;
- Proactively create strong, fruitful, and long-lasting regulatory relationships with key regulatory stakeholders
- Work with the Product Compliance team to pass any audits
- Act as the assigned MGA Internal audit key function holder
Requirements
- Extensive experience in regulatory and technical/product compliance, particularly in gaming and licensing.
- Strong knowledge of managing gaming licenses (e.g., Great Britain, Malta, Sweden) and ensuring ongoing compliance.
- Skilled in handling day-to-day compliance activities like mandatory reporting, filing returns, and paying license fees.
- Proficient in monitoring regulatory developments and communicating relevant changes to the organization.
- Experienced in managing projects related to acquiring new licenses and entering new jurisdictions.
- Adept at maintaining and updating internal compliance documentation and registers.
- Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with regulatory authorities and address inquiries.
- Ability to create and maintain strong relationships with regulatory stakeholders.
- Collaborative team player, working closely with the Product Compliance team to ensure successful audits.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to regulatory challenges.
- Having B2B and/or test lab experience
- Compliance Experience related to one or several of the following markets: United States; Colombia, Mexico, Germany, The Netherlands, Portugal.
- Established good relations with the Great Britain Gambling Commission and/or the Malta Gaming Authority.
