Who Were Looking For
Were hiring a Narrative Content Producer to lead editorial strategy, narrative framing, and content ideation across our podcast-driven client portfolio. This role focuses on developing podcast prep documents, identifying story arcs, curating key moments, and ensuring all content aligns with each campaigns editorial line and strategic goals.
You are a story-first creative who thrives at the intersection of content strategy and production. You understand what makes content compelling across formats and platformsand you can guide others in building it. Youre fluent in social and editorial culturecomfortable writing Substack essays, LinkedIn narratives, short captions, and teaser headlines. You bring strong taste and voice, and can adapt tone across platforms and clients while keeping clarity and relevance. Ideally, you're part of the next-gen creative class: young, culturally aware, and quick to shape content that resonates.
You will not be responsible for operations, project management, or publishing logistics. Instead, you will own the editorial direction behind all written and narrative assets, ensuring quality, coherence, and creative impact across channels.

1. Podcast Narrative & Prep Support
- Research guests and episode topics to identify relevant themes
- Draft prep documents with guest bios, talking points, cultural angles, and narrative arcs
- Participate in planning season themes, developing guest strategy, and collaborating on topic curation
- Draft content scripts, talking points, and creative briefs rooted in the clients brand strategy and episode goals
- Offer light support during recordings when needed (narrative flow cues, pacing notes).
2. Clip Curation & Storytelling Framing
- Identify compelling clips per episode using manual review + AI tools
- Ensure clips are tied to strong narrative beats and usable across multiple platforms
- Collaborate with editors to finalize and package clips
- QA final clips for tone & accuracy
3. Substack & Written Content Creation
- Draft Substack and newsletter posts tied to each episode, including teaser clip, title options, and a clear intro
- Write captions and summaries for LinkedIn, YouTube, and Spotify that reflect each platforms format and audience
- Reflect client tone and strategic objectives across all written content
- Use AI to streamline writing and outline generation where appropriate
4. Editorial Strategy & Creative Direction
- Define the editorial arc of each campaign, ensuring content reflects brand tone and narrative goals
- Recommend hooks, titles, angles, and formats based on platform trends and episode themes
- Collaborate with the Social Media & Marketing team on content planning
- Provide narrative framing, creative guidance, and headline suggestions for episodic content
- Review caption concepts, clip selects, and rollout strategies for narrative and tone alignment
5. Episode Editing Oversight
- Review and approve the full episode video and audio edits for quality, tone, structure, and alignment with the prep
- Provide editors with feedback to improve pacing, transitions and storytelling elements.
6. Strategic & Creative Collaboration
- Support ideation for evergreen or trend-responsive content
- Review content performance reports to help guide future creative direction
- Maintain tone-of-voice documentation with writing examples, hooks, and stylistic notes

What You Bring
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years in editorial strategy, podcast production, journalism, or creative direction
- Exceptional writing and storytelling instincts
- Strong understanding of brand voice, content pacing, and message clarity
- Familiarity with podcast workflows, transcription tools, and social content formats
- Proficient with AI tools like ChatGPT, CastMagic, Descript
- Comfortable giving feedback, leading prep sessions, and collaborating across departments
- Experience reviewing and approving full-length audio/video content
- Bilingual (Spanish & English)

- Have experience working with personal brands or creators
- Have a background in marketing, content creation, or design/branding
- Are comfortable writing for different tones across clients
- Have a genuine interest in AI, entrepreneurship, and/or business culture
- Have supported a podcast host or editorial team

Job Details
- Location: Remote
- Hours: Part-time, 20 hours/week
