About the Role

Troxis is looking for a Research & Development Intern with a strong interest in AI, emerging technologies, business strategy, operations, and innovation.

You will receive structured training and hands-on exposure to technology research, business research, competitive intelligence, process improvement, SOP development, AI evaluation, automation, and business growth research.

Key Responsibilities

• Research AI, emerging technologies, software, industry trends, and technology-driven opportunities.
• Conduct market, business, competitor, industry, and strategic research.
• Evaluate AI tools, technologies, products, and solutions based on use cases, capabilities, limitations, cost, and business value.
• Research business growth opportunities, new markets, services, business models, and competitive positioning.
• Analyze business operations, workflows, process gaps, and improvement opportunities.
• Research and support SOPs, workflows, process documentation, and operational standards.
• Identify opportunities for AI, automation, technology adoption, and process optimization.
• Support technology benchmarking, basic POCs, and innovation initiatives.
• Prepare research reports, competitor analysis, technology assessments, SOPs, presentations, and executive summaries.
• Use AI-powered research tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, and NotebookLM.
• Collaborate with different departments to research business challenges and identify practical solutions.

What We're Looking For

• Fresh graduate in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, Engineering, Business, Economics, Management Sciences, or a related field.
• 0–6 months of experience in research, technology research, business analysis, strategy, consulting, market intelligence, innovation, or a related analytical role.
• Strong interest in AI, technology, business, strategy, operations, and innovation.
• Strong research, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to understand, analyze, compare, and simplify complex information.
• Good communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
• Curious, proactive, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.

Good to Have

• Familiarity with LLMs, AI Agents, APIs, Python, SQL, Cloud, RAG, automation, or software technologies.
• Academic or personal projects involving AI, technology, business research, data, or innovation.
• Exposure to business analysis, market research, process mapping, SOPs, or competitive analysis.
