Position Title: Business Analyst
Timings: 4:00PM - 1:00AM (Onsite)
Location: Johar Town, Lahore

Position Overview

The Senior Business Analyst will play a critical role in gathering, analysing , documenting, and validating business and functional requirements for software development projects. This role requires close collaboration with clients, Product Owners, Project Managers, UI/UX Designers, Developers, and QA teams to ensure business object ives are translated into well - defined user stories, acceptance criteria, and product requirements.

The ideal candidate has strong experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, Agile/Scrum methodologies, user story writing, backlog management, process analysis, and stakeholder communication.

Key Responsibilities

Gather, analyze, validate, and document business, functional, and non - functional requirements.

Analyze existing business processes and recommend technology - driven improvements.

Translate complex business requirements into clear, structured functional specifications.

Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), Software Requirement Specifications (SRS), and process documentation.

Write detailed user stories with well - defined acceptance criteria following Agile best practices.

Create Epics, Features, User Stories, Tasks, and Bugs in Azure DevOps and Jira.

Prioritize and refine the product backlog in collaboration with Product Owners and stakeholders. Facilitate backlog grooming, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospective meetings.

Ensure requirements are development ready before sprint execution.

Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.

Clarify business requirements during development and testing phases.

Support Agile ceremonies including daily stand ups, sprint planning, sprint demos, and retrospectives.

Develop workflow diagrams, business process models, use cases, and process maps.

Identify process inefficiencies and recommend optimization opportunities.

Maintain comprehensive project documentation throughout the product lifecycle.

Build strong relationships with internal teams and external clients.

Present business analysis findings, product recommendations, and project updates to stakeholders.

Manage changing business priorities while maintaining project alignment.

Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning and execution.

Validate delivered solutions against business objectives and acceptance criteria.

Assist with defect triaging and requirement clarification during testing.

Monitor project progress and proactively identify risks or blockers.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.

4–8 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a Software House, IT Services, SaaS, or Product Development environment.

Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

Proven experience working with cross -functional software development teams.

Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

Strong problem -solving and critical thinking abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working on Web Applications, Mobile Applications, SaaS, ERP, CRM, FinTech, Healthcare, AI, or Enterprise Software projects.

Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and wireframing tools (Figma, Balsamiq, or Adobe XD).

Basic understanding of APIs, databases, SQL, REST services, and system integrations..
