The Opportunity
The business is seeking a proactive Assistant Management Accountant to support the Financial Controller across a broad range of daily and monthly finance activities. This role is ideal for someone who wants hands-on exposure across the full finance function, contributing directly to high-value outputs such as:

Cashflow forecasting

Revenue and COGS analysis

Consolidated monthly management accounts

Group reporting and process improvement
You will be encouraged to take ownership, ask questions, and challenge for accurate information across the wider team. Key Responsibilities

Process new supplier invoices daily using HubDoc (OCR tool)

Raise and issue sales invoices as requested by sales and project teams

Ensure accurate coding and tracking including project names and introducer details

Complete daily bank reconciliations across multiple group accounts

Reconcile trade debtor and creditor balances where required

Support debtor chasing and credit-control activities

Match purchase-ledger postings against project-management records
-
Maintain and update schedules for external commission payments
-
Assist with the development and rollout of cloud-based reporting dashboards
Candidate Profile

Strong Excel skills, including lookups, SUMIFS and PivotTables

Experience with Xero (preferred but not essential)

A proactive communicator who enjoys problem-solving

Comfortable engaging with colleagues to ensure accurate and timely information

Actively studying ACCA or CIMA, or planning to do so
-
Genuine interest in improving processes and contributing to a modern finance function
