DBA ORACLE (Lisbon or Porto, office up to 2 times per week)

About the Job

Manage, maintain, and optimize Oracle database systems to ensure high availability, performance, and compliance with security standards. You will work on installation, configuration, monitoring, backup policies, and query optimization, collaborating closely with development and infrastructure teams to support business needs.

Main Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar
• At least 3 years of experience as an Oracle DBA
• Expertise in Oracle database administration, installation, configuration, and upgrades
• Good knowledge of performance monitoring and tuning tools
• Knowledge of scripting (PL/SQL, Shell)
• Experience with database backup, recovery, and archiving strategies
• Nice to have: Experience with Oracle Cloud, AWS, and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra)
• Good level of English is mandatory
• Certifications in Oracle (OCA, OCP) or equivalent are a plus
