About the Job
We are looking for an IT Program Director & Project Manager to lead a large scale IT transition and transformation programme in a complex enterprise environment. This person will hold end to end accountability across the full transition lifecycle, from contract sunrise and knowledge transfer through service validation and go live, while also driving transformation initiatives in parallel across multiple service areas. The role requires close coordination of programme level governance, project managers, transition and transformation leads, service delivery stakeholders and executive client sponsors. It is a highly visible position suited to someone used to operating with precision, structure and authority in regulated environments, with frequent international travel throughout the programme.
Main Requirements
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
- Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Management or a related field.
- Experience leading large scale IT programmes, including outsourcing or managed services transitions.
- Track record managing multi tower, multi supplier programmes across complex IT environments.
- Experience overseeing the full transition lifecycle, including knowledge transfer, service validation and go live readiness.
- Background working with enterprise service management frameworks and governance structures aligned with ITIL.
- Experience leading Executive Steering Committees, programme governance forums and senior client relationships.
- Comfortable coordinating cross functional teams including Project Managers, Transition Leads, Transformation Leads and Service Delivery Managers.
- Comfortable managing risks, issues, dependencies, reporting and change control.
- PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent certifications are a nice to have.
- Experience in financial services or other regulated environments is highly desirable.
- Experience in Data related programmes is valued.
- Scrum and or Kanban exposure is a plus.
