About the job Land Surveyor
Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a Land Surveyor:
Job Responsibilities:
- Attend daily subcontractor meetings and perform survey setting-out lines/points as required for structural and architectural works.
- Communicate effectively with project staff and subcontractors to understand requirements and plan tasks to meet project timelines.
- Ensure accuracy of all survey setting-out lines/points and proper handover to other parties to minimize errors on site.
- Perform routine checks according to floor framing plans, including verification of formwork levels before and after casting, as-built slab levels, and alignment of walls and columns.
- Conduct repeated checks and daily closing of survey works to ensure no errors are carried forward.
- Arrange calibration and servicing of surveying instruments, maintaining records for audits and standard operational procedures.
- Liaise with Licensed Land Surveyors to ensure AMSL, as-built surveys, and authority submissions are accurately completed and endorsed.
- Support the Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) program set by the PM and WSHO to contribute to a safe and clean site.
- Continuously upgrade knowledge and skills through attendance of surveying courses and proposing new surveying methods/equipment for site efficiency.
- Accept additional tasks as part of the project team to contribute to cost-saving initiatives.
- Mentor and guide new or junior land surveyors for smooth integration into the team without affecting site progress.
Job Requirements:
- Certificate or Diploma in Land Surveying or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in land surveying for construction projects.
- Proficient in surveying techniques, setting-out procedures, and instrument handling.
- Strong attention to detail with high accuracy in measurements and site verification.
- Good communication and coordination skills with project teams and subcontractors.
- Ability to plan and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.
- Familiarity with AMSL, as-built surveys, and authority submission requirements.
- Knowledge of EHS practices and participation in site safety programs.
- Proactive, disciplined, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Mentorship experience is an advantage.
Additional Information:
- Salary: Up to SGD 4,700 +AWS +VB (1-2 Months)
- Working Location: City Hall
- Working Hours: 5 Days Work, 9am - 6pm
