R&D Engineer

Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a R&D Engineer:

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct experimental research on product compounds, including analysis and testing to investigate chemical properties and performance.
• Develop new products, test methodologies, and improve existing raw materials and formulations.
• Perform product testing and support trial run evaluations.
• Collaborate with customers during product testing and development stages to support product evaluation and application needs.
• Work closely with customers to develop application solutions that meet their requirements.
• Provide technical support to customers in a proactive and timely manner.
• Prepare and maintain quality system documentation, including test methods, process parameters, and risk assessments.
• Participate in customer development projects and cross-functional initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve technical-related issues.
• Support customer visits and certification or audit activities.
• Manage procurement of laboratory equipment, testing instruments, and related materials.
• Facilitate technology transfer to production, including grade transfers from other plants.
• Represent the department in company-wide activities and initiatives.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemical Process, or a related discipline.
• Relevant working experience in R&D, laboratory, or manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, particularly in problem-solving and failure analysis.
• Good conceptual and technical understanding of product development processes.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
• Proactive, responsible, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated initiative, integrity, and willingness to learn.

Additional Information:

• Salary: Up to SGD 4,000 +AWS +VB (1-2 Months)
• Working Location: Sembawang
• Working Hours: 5 Days Work, 8:30am - 5pm
