About the job Site Engineer
Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a Site Engineer:
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with consultants and subcontractors on shop drawings, samples, method statements, and ensure all parties are updated on the latest revisions.
- Attend project and technical meetings, resolving site issues with owners and consultants to ensure smooth project progress.
- Verify that site works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and authority requirements, and ensure subcontractors rectify any non-conformances.
- Resolve technical and site issues promptly with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to minimise project delays.
- Maintain and update all relevant documentation to ensure readiness for ISO audits.
- Support the safety department and perform assigned duties within the site safety framework.
- Assist the site management team with project planning, coordination, and monitoring of critical activities.
- Plan and schedule construction sequences to meet project timelines and productivity targets.
- Arrange and prepare necessary documents for authority submissions (CONQUAS, RI, TOP, etc.).
- Review tender and construction drawings, specifications, and contracts to fully understand project requirements.
- Monitor key project criteria related to schedule, productivity, and technical performance.
- Provide guidance to junior or new staff to support knowledge transfer and team integration.
- Work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment and communicate effectively with all project stakeholders.
- Demonstrate strong independence, initiative, and problem-solving capability.
Job Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in building or infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and coordination requirements.
- Knowledge of authority submission processes (CONQUAS, RI, TOP).
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Able to work independently, proactive, and self-motivated.
- Team player with the ability to work effectively with consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Experience mentoring junior staff is an advantage.
- Familiar with safety protocols and able to work under established safety frameworks.
Additional Information:
- Salary: Up to SGD 5,400 +AWS +VB (1-2 Months)
- Working Location: City Hall
- Working Hours: 5 Days Work, (am - 6pm
