Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a QMS Assistant Manager:

Job Responsibilities

  • Plan, supervise, and execute projects and tasks in alignment with managements strategic objectives.
  • Oversee Quality Assurance and Quality Management activities, ensuring effective implementation and continual improvement of Quality and Environmental Management Systems (QEMS).
  • Maintain compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 13485, and IATF 16949 standards, including establishing and monitoring quality and environmental objectives.
  • Ensure adherence to all applicable customer, legal, and regulatory requirements; recommend and implement improvements when necessary.
  • Manage departmental budgets, manpower planning, and competency development.
  • Conduct internal audits, vendor assessments, and support external ISO audits.
  • Lead initiatives such as Total Quality Control (TQC), cost reduction activities, and quality improvement projects.
  • Establish key performance indicators and actively manage risks related to environment, safety, and information security.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to address quality and environmental matters.
  • Authorize production halts when necessary to prevent the delivery of non-conforming products and ensure effective containment measures are taken.
  • Prepare and submit regulatory reports or notifications to relevant authorities as required.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience in engineering or quality assurance, preferably with exposure to surface treatment or plating processes.
  • Prior experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity would be advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 13485, and IATF 16949 standards.
  • Familiarity with automotive core quality tools (APQP, PPAP, MSA, FMEA, SPC) and proficiency in statistical analysis software such as Minitab or JMP would be beneficial.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and lead quality and compliance initiatives effectively.

  • Salary: Up to SGD 5,800 +AWS +VB (1 Month)
  • Working Location: Joo Koon
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7.50am to 4.55pm
