Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a Site Supervisor:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Attend daily subcontractor meetings to discuss structural and architectural works, ensuring progress aligns with project schedules.
  • Monitor site activities, check progress, and ensure subcontractors comply with safety regulations; report findings to the superior and Safety Officer.
  • Inspect subcontractors work to ensure compliance with approved drawings and details, and take corrective actions for any non-conformance.
  • Conduct daily inspections with the RE/RTO, address their comments, and ensure works are approved for commencement.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, documentation, and evidence for future reference or legal requirements.
  • Communicate confidently with workers and subcontractors while seeking guidance from senior staff when required; uphold mutual respect and professionalism.
  • Ensure efficient and timely approval of works and practice BCA good site standards through vigilant observation and coordination.
  • Support Environmental, Health & Safety programmes led by the PM and WSHO to maintain a safe and clean site environment.
  • Continuously upgrade skills through relevant construction courses (BCA or equivalent) and explore practical cost-saving methods for site operations.
  • Undertake additional duties as part of team-based activities to support project cost control.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to new or junior Site Supervisors for smooth integration and uninterrupted project progress.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma/Certificate in Civil Engineering, Construction, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of site supervision experience in building or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong understanding of structural, architectural, and general construction works.
  • Familiar with BCA requirements, site inspection procedures, and standard construction practices.
  • Good knowledge of workplace safety requirements and ability to enforce safety compliance.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to coordinate effectively with workers, subcontractors, and consultants.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently while supporting the project team.
  • Ability to guide and mentor junior supervisors.

Additional Information:

  • Salary: Up to SGD 4,300 +AWS +VB (1-2 Months)
  • Working Location: City Hall
  • Working Hours: 5 Days Work, 9am - 6pm
