Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a Retrofit Service Sales Engineer:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform project design, equipment selection, and sizing based on customer specifications.
  • Review and understand HVAC scope of work for bidding purposes.
  • Conduct site surveys and measurements; attend pre-bid walkthroughs when required.
  • Participate in tender clarifications and interviews as necessary.
  • Work closely with the Manager to develop project plans, budgets, and schedules.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Customer Consultants, and Management to prepare project proposals, tender submissions, and contractual documents.
  • Prepare quotations and follow up on service retrofit job opportunities with customers.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to Management.
  • Ensure projects are completed within budget, timeline, and in compliance with specifications and quality standards.
  • Identify cost-reduction opportunities while maintaining quality and efficiency.
  • Source, liaise, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors on pricing and requirements.
  • Evaluate supplier quotations, compile cost assessments, and prepare costing sheets.
  • Maintain good relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
  • Maintain accurate estimating logs and unit cost records for all projects.
  • Prepare and verify Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
  • Adhere to company policies and safety regulations to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Research and recommend new technologies or methods to enhance project development.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering or Building.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in the HVAC/ACMV industry.
  • Strong knowledge of various HVAC systems, components, and mechanical contracting.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and construction documents.
  • Proficient in project planning, coordination, and documentation.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge or experience in project management is an added advantage.

Additional Information:

  • Salary: Up to SGD 4,800 +VB (4.8 Months)
  • Working Location: Boon Lay
  • Working Hours: 5 Days Work, 9am - 6pm
  • Transport allowance (if drive own vehicle): $1000
