Light Technician( (EU Only) ):Costa Crociere

Job Description 

Assures adequate technical support to the entertainment activities, through the correct use of the technical light equipment present on board and in accordance with the operating instructions

Job Requirements

• Secondary School diploma    
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Technical Services or Theatre            
• Solid knowledge of lighting techniques and equipment 
• Independent user of Microsoft Excel and Word        
• English level B2 

Main Responsibilities

• Provide technical lighting support during rehearsals and live shows in the theatre, ensuring high-quality entertainment standard
• Supply and prepare all necessary equipment according to the needs of scheduled activities (e.g. artists, groups, special events)
• Take responsibility for all lighting equipment in use (e.g. colour filters, smoke machines, light bulbs), ensuring proper handling to prevent damage or premature wear
• Promptly report any equipment issues or malfunctions to the Entertainment Technical Manager to ensure quick and effective resolution
• Store all equipment correctly in designated lockers, maintaining inventory accuracy and compliance with Company procedures
