Job Description
Entertains Guests in the various activities and promotes interactions between them during the cruise.
Language Skills:
English - B1 Level
German - B1 Level
Main Responsibilities:
- Keeps in contact with Guests during the cruise in order to promote the entertainment activities behaving in accordance with the principles of the Costa Brand positioning.
-Involves Guests in animation activities using the correct tone of voice to socialise and helps them to interact with each other paying special attention to include the isolated ones removing language barriers.
- Organises the animation activities in order to fit Guests expectations and needs.
- Manages Guests complaints taking direct action or addressing them to the Chief Adult Animator or to the relevant department to provide a fast and effective solution.
- Could collaborate in other activities held by the Entertainment Department and when needed for revenue purposes with other departments in accordance with Entertainment working schedule.
-Participates in daily meeting with Adult Animation Team in order to plan and organise the working activities.
-Manages and gives assistance at the "Rope Garden Park" where present, upon receiving a specific training.
- Takes active part in a work environment that support a successful safety culture. Is a dynamic contributor in following safety policy and procedures.
- Follows the instructions received as per protocol applied on Covid-19 spread prevention rules.
- Supports an effective health and safety culture proactively informing Guest on any infringement or missing application of procedures and reporting to the Head of Department the critical situation.
- Maintains a high responsible approach applying social distancing rules also during non-working activities.
- Monitors Guest activities during excursions to ensure compliance with service standard and safety procedures
- Supports the new organisation of the onboard activity performing tasks enhancing health standards (i.e. temperature screening, sanitisation of the working place, instructions to passengers).

* Proof of Vaccination OR laboratory confirmation of previous disease (IgG) required. Where no original vaccine documentation available, necessary to prove serologic. IgG blood test confirming immunity (antibody check valid for life).
