Job Title: Senior Purchasing Specialist / Purchasing Specialist

Salary Range: RMB 8,000 – 20,000 / month

  • Dotted line: International Merchandising Manager (HQ)

Job Responsibilities

  1. Develop and manage local pharmaceutical and beauty product suppliers in Indonesia to ensure stable supply and long-term cooperation.

  2. Formulate purchasing plans based on Indonesia market demand and company strategy, optimizing category mix and SKU structure.

  3. Lead price negotiations and commercial terms with suppliers to control costs and improve gross margin.

  4. Ensure purchasing activities comply with Indonesia regulations, including BPOM registration, import licenses, and customs clearance processes.

  5. Identify supply chain risks (e.g. supply interruption, regulatory changes) and develop contingency plans.

  6. Establish purchasing procedures and quality management standards; support new product launches and promotional activities.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelors degree or above.

  2. Minimum 5 years of purchasing experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, or beauty industries in Indonesia.

  3. Strong experience in supplier development, negotiation, cost control, and compliance management.

  4. Familiar with Indonesia pharmaceutical and beauty market, including OTC product lists and pharmacy supply chains.

  5. Experience working with at least 20+ chain pharmacies or equivalent retail channels is preferred.

  6. Native Indonesian speaker; fluent in English (written and spoken). Able to communicate effectively with China HQ.

  7. Proficient in Excel and ERP systems (e.g. SAP); capable of data analysis and category performance evaluation.

  8. Strong sense of responsibility, adaptability, and resilience in a fast-growing business environment.
