Job Title: Accounting & Tax Specialist

Job Responsibilities

• Handle full-cycle accounting for Mexico entity

• Prepare and review statutory accounting records in compliance with Mexican GAAP (NIF)

• Manage local tax compliance, including VAT (IVA), ISR, and other tax filings

• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and internal stakeholders

• Support month-end and year-end closing processes

• Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in accounting and tax reporting

Requirements

• 5+ years of accounting experience

• 3+ years of hands-on tax experience in Mexico

• Strong knowledge of Mexican accounting standards (NIF) and tax regulations

• Working proficiency in Spanish and English

• Experience in Chinese companies, Financial Services, or FinTech is a strong plus

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with multinational or fast-growing companies

• Strong attention to detail and compliance mindset

• Able to work onsite in Mexico City
