Overview

We are hiring a Risk Control Director (Client Risk Focus) to lead the end-to-end client risk management function for a fast-growing Forex / CFD trading platform.

This role focuses on client behavior risk, abnormal trading detection, IB/agent risk, and fund flow risk control.

This is not a dealing / market risk role.

Key Responsibilities

Client Risk Framework

• Build and optimize full lifecycle client risk framework (onboarding trading withdrawal)
• Design client segmentation (retail, HNW, HFT, IB, etc.)
• Develop client risk profiling models (trading behavior, fund flow, device/IP, account linkage)

Abnormal Trading Detection

• Identify arbitrage, wash trading, bonus abuse, HFT anomalies
• Build risk rules, thresholds, and alert systems
• Establish detection investigation action workflows

IB / Agent Risk Management

• Define onboarding and risk standards for IBs / affiliates
• Monitor IB client quality and detect abuse (fake volume, mass accounts, rebate abuse)
• Implement tiered risk actions

Deposit & Withdrawal Risk

• Monitor abnormal fund flows and suspicious payments
• Work with AML / Finance teams on fraud and money laundering prevention

Risk Systems & Data

• Lead development of risk rule engine and monitoring dashboards
• Define key indicators across trading, behavior, and fund flows

Case Handling

• Handle disputes, withdrawals, and high-risk investigations
• Build SOPs and case libraries

Team Leadership

• Build and manage risk team
• Establish SOPs, escalation protocols, and reporting

Requirements

Must Have

• 5+ years in financial services risk management
• 3+ years in Forex / CFD / derivatives platform client risk
• Experience with MT4 / MT5, CRM, back-office systems
• Experience in anti-fraud / anti-abuse / client risk

Preferred

• Arbitrage / anti-gaming experience
• IB / affiliate risk management
• Payment / withdrawal risk
• Experience building risk frameworks or rule engines

Compensation

• USD 12,000/month (negotiable)
• Performance bonus + relocation + incentives
