Position Overview
We are hiring a Customer Support Executive / Sales Support Executive for a cross-border business serving the US market.
This is a fully remote role, with employment and payroll managed under a Malaysia-based entity. The role focuses on customer communication, platform support, and basic sales assistance.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Support & Communication

Respond to customer inquiries via website, social media, and instant messaging platforms

Communicate primarily in English, with support in Chinese and Malay when needed

Provide product information, order assistance, and after-sales support

Maintain positive customer relationships to improve satisfaction and repeat purchases
Sales Support

Assist the sales team with lead follow-up and basic customer outreach

Record and manage customer information and sales leads

Support basic business communication and quotations using provided templates
Operational Support

Organize customer FAQs and standard response templates

Maintain basic data records and submit daily/weekly reports

Participate in simple process optimization tasks as required
Requirements

Fluent written English (primary working language)

Good Chinese communication skills; Malay is a plus

Experience in customer service, sales support, or e-commerce operations is preferred

Familiar with social media platforms and online communication tools

Basic computer skills (Google Docs, Excel, CRM systems, etc.)

Strong communication skills with a customer-oriented mindset
Working Hours

Partial overlap with US time zones is required

Shift-based or flexible scheduling available

For higher-complexity tasks, US time zone alignment may be adjusted on a phased basis
