​​Key Responsibilities​​

  • Conduct in-depth desk-based research, identifying, collating, and synthesizing key information from a wide array of public and proprietary sources;
  • Write clearly structured and analytically sound reports in English that directly address and dissect client inquiries;
  • Master and utilize a variety of specialized intelligence databases and research tools efficiently;
  • Proactively identify gaps in information and locate new sources to provide missing data, ensuring thorough and comprehensive research;
  • Analyze gathered information, distill critical insights, and suggest subsequent steps for projects.

​​Must-Have Requirements​​

  • Minimum of one year's professional experience in a research-oriented role (e.g., due diligence, market research, journalism, policy research, or political risk analysis);
  • Full professional proficiency in both Mandarin and English (spoken and written);
  • Bachelors or Masters degree;
  • Demonstrable experience in writing detailed, structured reports;
  • A proven track record of producing consistently high-quality work for demanding audiences or senior stakeholders;
  • Hands-on experience working with intelligence-gathering databases;
  • Ability to work effectively under time pressure and manage multiple projects concurrently;
  • Strong team collaboration skills coupled with the ability to work autonomously;
  • Proactive in developing new skills, knowledge, and experience;
