About the Role

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead the overall operations of a high-volume, full-service restaurant located in a premier shopping destination in San Diego.

This role oversees both Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) teams and is responsible for operational excellence, financial performance, guest satisfaction, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily restaurant operations across FOH, BOH, takeout, and delivery

• Drive sales growth, profitability, and operational efficiency through business planning and KPI management

• Recruit, train, coach, and develop management and hourly teams (20–30 employees)

• Ensure exceptional guest experience and handle feedback or service recovery

• Manage budgets, labor costs, food costs, inventory, and vendor relationships

• Ensure compliance with all U.S. labor, food safety, health, and safety regulations

• Collaborate with marketing teams on local promotions and community engagement

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a General Manager in a chain or multi-unit restaurant environment

• Proven ability to lead teams of 20–30+ employees

• Strong financial acumen (P&L, budgeting, cost controls, KPIs)

• Solid knowledge of U.S. restaurant regulations and food safety standards

• Fluent in English and Chinese with strong cross-cultural communication skills

• Hands-on leadership style with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $130,000 – $150,000 annually
