Compensation: USD $25–30 / hour + annual performance incentive eligibility
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Administrative Assistant to support daily operations at a flagship restaurant location in San Diego. This role plays a critical part in ensuring smooth administrative processes, accurate recordkeeping, and effective communication across departments in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Key Responsibilities

Manage daily administrative tasks including filing, meeting coordination, and calendar management

Record and reconcile daily sales and maintain accurate financial records

Process expense reimbursements and vendor payments in a timely manner

Support HR operations including employee onboarding/offboarding and personnel file maintenance

Track employee schedules, attendance, and coordinate payroll and benefits administration via ADP

Monitor purchasing requests and organize invoices and receipts
-
Track inventory-related data and support accurate inventory management

Prepare operational and sales reports to support management decision-making

Facilitate effective communication between store leadership and corporate departments

Provide operational or guest service support during peak periods when needed

Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications

Associates degree or above required
-
Prior experience in administrative support, accounting, HR, or restaurant operations preferred

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently

Excellent organizational and prioritization skills

Passion for the restaurant or hospitality industry

Fluent in both English and Chinese (Mandarin) preferred
Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

Ability to lift up to 30 lbs

Ability to bend, stretch, and reach for supplies

Ability to work in temperature-variable environments including refrigerated and hot kitchen areas
