Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Head of TikTok Live Operations to lead and build our TikTok Live business in the North American market. This role is a 0–1 leadership position, responsible for end-to-end live commerce strategy, execution, and team building, with full ownership of live GMV and performance.
This is a high-impact role reporting directly to senior leadership, ideal for candidates with strong overseas live commerce experience and a proven track record of delivering results.
Key Responsibilities

Own the overall TikTok Live business in North America, including:

Live studio setup and operations

Live commerce strategy and execution
-
Product selection and merchandising strategy
-
Live marketing mechanics and paid traffic integration

Build and manage the live commerce team from scratch, including:

Hosts / streamers
-
Influencer & creator collaborations
-
Live operations and product teams
-
Post-sale and operational coordination
-

Establish SOPs, training systems, and performance management processes

Lead TikTok content and live strategy across:

Live streaming
-
Influencer-led live sessions
-
Brand-owned live accounts
-

Analyze performance data (GMV, conversion rate, ROI, traffic efficiency) and continuously optimize strategies to improve results

Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, and operations teams
Qualifications
-
Bachelors degree or above
-
5–10 years of relevant experience in live commerce, content commerce, or social e-commerce
-
Proven experience in planning and executing live streaming campaigns with measurable GMV results
-
Strong team-building and people management experience
-
Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills
-
Strong understanding of TikTok ecosystem, especially TikTok Live and TikTok Shop
-
Fluent in English (working proficiency required)

Able to travel frequently or be based overseas long-term
-
Highly results-driven, resilient, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications

Based in the US with citizenship or permanent residency (green card)

Prior experience building live commerce operations in North America

Experience with cross-border DTC or global consumer brands

Familiar with both influencer-led and brand-owned live streaming models
