Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Head of TikTok Live Operations to lead and build our TikTok Live business in the North American market. This role is a 0–1 leadership position, responsible for end-to-end live commerce strategy, execution, and team building, with full ownership of live GMV and performance.

This is a high-impact role reporting directly to senior leadership, ideal for candidates with strong overseas live commerce experience and a proven track record of delivering results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the overall TikTok Live business in North America, including:

    • Live studio setup and operations

    • Live commerce strategy and execution

    • Product selection and merchandising strategy

    • Live marketing mechanics and paid traffic integration

  • Build and manage the live commerce team from scratch, including:

    • Hosts / streamers

    • Influencer & creator collaborations

    • Live operations and product teams

    • Post-sale and operational coordination

  • Establish SOPs, training systems, and performance management processes

  • Lead TikTok content and live strategy across:

    • Live streaming

    • Influencer-led live sessions

    • Brand-owned live accounts

  • Analyze performance data (GMV, conversion rate, ROI, traffic efficiency) and continuously optimize strategies to improve results

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, and operations teams

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or above

  • 5–10 years of relevant experience in live commerce, content commerce, or social e-commerce

  • Proven experience in planning and executing live streaming campaigns with measurable GMV results

  • Strong team-building and people management experience

  • Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills

  • Strong understanding of TikTok ecosystem, especially TikTok Live and TikTok Shop

  • Fluent in English (working proficiency required)

  • Able to travel frequently or be based overseas long-term

  • Highly results-driven, resilient, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Based in the US with citizenship or permanent residency (green card)

  • Prior experience building live commerce operations in North America

  • Experience with cross-border DTC or global consumer brands

  • Familiar with both influencer-led and brand-owned live streaming models
