Senior .NET Engineer

About the Company

A highly-reputable technology firm, developing leading connected-device solutions for the Internet of Things (IoT) with enterprise customers.

What you will be working on:

You will be leading the IoT cloud development team, developing and maintaining software for the cloud platform(s):

• Lead research & development for new cloud platform capabilities

• Contribute to operations and roadmap for cloud platform

• Communicate requirements to other members of the engineering teams

• Develop and maintain software tools and repositories for software products

• Manage the delivery of technical documentation such as design documents and product datasheets

• Provide engineering support for cloud software product platform products

Must-have skills:

• Experience in high volume transaction or IoT related cloud platform

• .NET Core / .NET software development expertise

• C#, ASP NET CORE MVC

• Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, VMWare

• UI/UX development such as AJAX, Bootstrap, HTML5/CSS, Angular

• Message Bus Architecture

• Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)

• Protocols experience with, TCP/IP, UDP, WebSocket, MQTT

Nice-to-have skills:

• Team leader role experience

• Database experience with MySQL with familiarity in Redis or similar Database/Queue

Salary: $140k+ 20% bonus
