The ACT AoD-MH Alliance is a high-impact, cross-sector initiative designed to improve outcomes for people with co-occurring alcohol and other drug (AoD) and mental health concerns. Were looking for a Project Coordinator who can juggle logistics, connect people, and isnt afraid to push buttons (literally).
This is a rare opportunity to be part of meaningful reform thats about more than just events and admin. Its about shaping how two sectors collaborate and using smart systems to make that easier, faster and better for everyone.
What youll do:
· Coordinate cross-sector activities like bus tours, learning circles, and co-design workshops
· Keep track of engagement, attendance, reporting and resources
· Maintain and improve our online collaboration tools and digital platforms
· Be the go-to for how could we do this better? across systems and operations
· Support consumer engagement and knowledge-sharing across the Alliance
What were looking for:
· Highly organised, great with people, and able to manage competing priorities
· A curious, solutions-focused mindset
· Confidence with Microsoft 365 tools (e.g. Planner, SharePoint, Teams, Forms) and a willingness to explore automation or digital workflows
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Someone who wants their work to make a difference in peoples lives.
You will be working across the MH & AoD sectors and so the need to be responsive, relational, and comfortable working in complex environments is essential as is your alignment with the values of collaboration, integrity, and respectful practice.
Terms: Full-time, SCHADS Level 3. Fixed-term to June 2027. Based in Canberra.
