Tutopiya is Singapores leading online tuition provider. Tutopiya provides its tutors and students with an enriching tutoring and learning experience on our evolving and unique platform. We are launching in the UK and on the lookout for an experienced sales professional to lead B2B acquisition and the organizations revenue growth objectives set for the UK market. 

The ideal candidate should define and communicate the businesss KPIs and targets to the team on a regular basis, analyze patterns in consumer and market behavior, and subsequently define data-driven action strategies in order to consistently optimize the businesss commercial performance.

The role is a data-driven role that requires commercial acumen and a deep understanding of the consumer base, the competitive market, and an ability to build relationships and understand customer trends. Its an integral part of the business in that it also involves the management of external partners and collaborations with numerous internal departments.

Remuneration: GBP 25-45K annually depending on experience with potential equity stake depending upon delivery of KPIs


  • Experience of at least 2 years of Edtech Sales to Schools in the UK

  • Established Network of School Administrators & Decision Makers

  • Good Understanding of the Education System in the UK

  • Strong Understanding of the Tutoring Industry, NTP, Schooling, Curricula & Funding for Schools provided by the Government

  • Strong Track record of Sales to Schools

  • Experience managing a sales team, driving & mentoring a team to deliver on KPIs
  • Work from Home Role but must reside in the UK

  • Must have the authorization to work in the UK/PR/Citizen   

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Sell our Tutoring solutions & edtech tools to schools in the UK by implementing a strong outreach programme and onboarding schools
  • Design and implement a sales plan in accordance with the organization's vision.
  • Analyze the territory/markets potential, track sales and status reports.
  • Deliver on our Targets & KPIs for sales in the UK to schools
  • Attend exhibitions and conferences to improve brand awareness amongst schools in the UK
  • Build a Strong Sales Team including recruiting, training, monitoring & mentoring.
  • Successfully onboard Tutopiya as a NTP Partner
  • Build a strong reputation and network within the schools in the UK
  • Work closely with Management to prepare the processes and systems to prepare for a successful application for the NTP
  • Work closely with the Team to optimize and streamline our services based on feedback from schools to improve lead generation, conversions, and retention of schools. Cooperation with the customer support team and provision of advice on sales-related issues.
  • Implement effective Lead Generation Strategies together with our Marketing Team. partner with our Marketing colleagues on driving cross-functional and cross-channel marketing efforts to meet the growth objectives.
  • Manage relationships well with existing customers to ensure successful retention of customers.
  • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends.
  • Collaborate with internal product/tech teams and provide feedback to help shape future product development.
  • Conduct market research (analyze competitors, the efficiency of sales strategies, etc.)
  • Monitor competition, economic indicators, and industry trends to help strategize future growth.
  • Present, promote, and sell using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers. Plan approaches and pitch for schools. Meet the clients in person and give them a demo of our product offerings.
  • Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs.
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
  • Work with the content team to understand what sales & marketing collateral can make the business development process stronger.
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
