Twin Resources is partnering with a valued manufacturing customer in Springfield, Ohio to identify a Process Engineer.

Position Summary

The Process Engineer will play a key role in driving operational excellence by leading process improvements, supporting new project initiatives, and enhancing manufacturing efficiency. This position requires a highly organized professional who can take ownership of multiple projects simultaneously, maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment, and consistently meet deadlines. The role is focused on analyzing and optimizing products and processes to reduce costs, improve quality, and increase overall productivity.

Qualifications (include but are not limited to):

  • Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
  • 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing processes strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and contribute within cross-functional project teams
  • Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed
  • Proven record of reliability, professionalism, and consistent attendance
  • Ability to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and internal teams
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks across various process steps in a collaborative environment
  • MUST BE LOCAL
  • Must be US Citizen or Green Card Holder

Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Analyze products and manufacturing processes to drive cost reduction, quality improvements, and efficiency gains
  • Collaborate with Maintenance and production teams to modify equipment, improve layouts, and enhance overall operations
  • Develop, present, and implement process improvement plans, including training for impacted team members
  • Maintain and improve standard operating procedures, safety protocols, quality standards, and training documentation
  • Lead performance planning initiatives and Continuous Improvement efforts to meet departmental objectives
  • Manage multiple projects, including new product launches and ongoing process improvement initiatives
  • Create and maintain documentation required for quality systems and certifications (e.g., TS standards)
  • Review and implement improvement suggestions in a timely and effective manner
  • Support manufacturing by troubleshooting issues and developing solutions to maximize equipment efficiency
  • Contribute to improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Customer Service metrics
