Position: Tool & Die Maker - 1st Shift

Company Overview: Twin Resources LLC is currently recruiting for a First Shift Toolmaker for our customer in Springfield, OH.

Position Overview: The Tool & Die Maker will be responsible for the fabrication, repair, and maintenance of various types of tooling and dies used in the production process. This includes but is not limited to stamping dies, progressive dies, and forming dies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tool and die making, with the ability to read and interpret blueprints, operate various machine tools, and work with a variety of materials.

Key Responsibilities:

- Fabricate, repair, and maintain tooling and dies according to specifications and blueprints

- Operate various machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders to shape and finish parts

- Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy and quality of finished products

- Troubleshoot and solve problems related to tooling and dies

- Collaborate with other team members to improve processes and increase efficiency

- Maintain a safe and clean work environment

- Adhere to all company policies and procedures

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in tool and die making

- Strong knowledge of blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings

- Proficient in operating various machine tools

- Ability to work with a variety of materials, including steel, aluminum, and plastic

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision

- Good communication and teamwork skills

- Must be able to work on the 1st shift (4x10 hour days).
