Job Description
This is a remote position.
As a Freelance Sales Representative, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and driving sales growth in your assigned territory. Your primary goal will be to meet and exceed sales targets while representing our custom apparel and promotional products with professionalism and care. This is a commission-only position, ideal for someone who thrives in a flexible, self-driven environment.
Ideal Candidate:
Proven B2B sales experience, preferably in custom apparel and or promotional products
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Self-motivated, organized, and goal-oriented
Comfortable with outreach and networking
Passionate about helping businesses and organizations stand out through branded merchandise
Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities by leveraging personal networks, cold outreach, referrals, and local business visits within your assigned territory
Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular check-ins, follow-ups, and excellent communication to ensure long-term satisfaction and repeat business
Understand client needs by asking the right questions and actively listening, then recommending the most effective custom apparel or promotional product solutions
Deliver quotes and proposals using our pricing tools and product catalogs, ensuring accurate, competitive, and timely submissions
Manage the entire sales process from first contact through final order placement, coordinating with internal teams and ensuring all client details are captured
Track leads, opportunities, and client interactions in our CRM system, keeping your sales pipeline up-to-date and organized
Collaborate with design and production teams to confirm product details, art approvals, decoration methods, and delivery timelines
Promote TX Ink locally by attending community events, networking groups, etc to generate new leads and increase brand awareness
Stay informed on industry trends and continually educate yourself on new products, decoration techniques, and client use cases to serve prospects better
Hit monthly and quarterly sales goals by staying focused, accountable, and proactive in driving consistent sales activity
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience in B2B sales (experience in custom apparel or promotional products is a plus)
Ability to meet and exceed KPIs (key performance indicators)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Familiarity with managing a sales pipeline
Familiarity with CRM systems
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation; willingness to visit clients and prospects in your territory
Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Comfortable with a commission-only compensation structure
Basic understanding of garment decoration methods (screen printing, embroidery, DTG, etc.) is a plus
Must reside in or near the assigned territory for local client engagement
