A. PROFILE

Role Title: Report Development Specialist
Reporting to: Director-BI & Analytics
Division: BI & Analytics
Department / Section: Marketing

B. CONTEXT

Purpose: Work closely with reporting & Analytics team and ensure all reporting requirements for the organization is met – Timely and Accurately. Develop automation reports with technology BI and leverage tools like Power BI, Power Automate and SAP BO (other reporting tools) to effectively migrate to automated reporting. Create the centre of excellence and ensure full support is provided to the entire internal analytics reporting community in the organization.

Context:  Building big data collection and analytics capabilities to uncover customer, product, and operational insights. Analysing data sources and proposing solutions to strategic planning problems on a one-time or periodic basis. Providing data-driven decision support. Developing analytics models and insights for customer- or employee-facing applications to drive efficiency or revenue.

C. ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Support in designing and improving data models for reporting
            • Purposes by analysing existing data models and ETL flows.

            • Assist Report Development Manager and Senior Specialist in maintaining and monitoring dashboard automation processes.
            • Support in designing, developing, unit testing, and deploying Power BI dashboards under guidance.
            • Build and maintain interactive dashboards using standard DAX formulas and queries to present key business insights.
            • Gather and understand user requirements, and assist in developing BI report solutions in coordination with IT and reporting teams.
            • Translate business requirements into basic technical specifications with support from senior team members.

            Interacts with:
            Internal: 
            All Commercial units, Technology BI team
            External: IT vendors when needed for automation

            Decision Making

            To take check and take decision on data sanity and ways to manage the data in best possible manner for efficient reporting.

            F. EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

            Minimum Experience & Essential Knowledge

            • Solid and proven background on SQL, Power BI, DAX, Advanced Excel, Power Automate and other reporting tools like SAP BO
            • At least 2-3 years of working experiences with Power BI platform
            • Advanced Excel skills
            • Good communication and presentation skills both in English and Myanmar
            • Strong experience of data designing, data modelling, data management and data visualization

            Minimum Entry Qualifications

            • Bachelor/master degree in IT.
