A. PROFILE

Role Title: Digital Quality Assurance Specialist
Reporting to: App Design and Development Senior Manager

B. CONTEXT

Purpose:

The purpose of this role is to identify defects, ensure high-quality, error-free delivery, improving user experience and execution of all digital services and features across U9's key digital products and platforms. This includes validating releases on the MOA app, M-Pitesan Consumer and Agent/Merchant apps, Website, Chatbot, and Dealer App.

Context:

This position operates within the broader context of U9's digital transformation and customer experience strategy. As the organization expands its digital footprint, maintaining a high standard of quality and engagement across multiple platforms is essential. The role contributes directly to user satisfaction, operational excellence, and data-driven leadership decisions by ensuring that all digital touchpoints function reliably, content is delivered effectively, and performance insights are clearly reported and actionable.


C. ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Design and develop test plans, test scenario, and test cases
  • Execute test cases and document any defects
  • Validate functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality, perfectly functioning U9 apps
  • Provide detailed test summaries and reports
  • Support release cycles and production monitoring
  • Report any bugs, glitches, loading issues, and any other user experience issues
  • Take ownership of all defects from discovery through to closure
  • QA of all customers facing UI/UX in entire U9 digital channel ecosystem, both existing and new
  • Continuous alignment with all key stakeholders on testing status
  • Local customer insights & suggestions (versus competition)
  • Drive continuous improvement in QA processes
  • Perform ad-hoc duties and other responsibilities as assigned by the Line Manager.

F. EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience & Essential Knowledge

  • 2–3 years of hands-on experience in Quality Assurance (QA) and software testing
  • Practical experience in manual testing for web and mobile applications
  • Solid understanding of regression, integration, and end-to-end testing processes
  • Ability to develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and testing strategies
  • Experience supporting software release cycles, defect tracking, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) coordination
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum working environments and cross-functional team collaboration
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Minimum Entry Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Fluent English language
