- Prepare checks and process disbursements,submission to Banks physically (if needed)
- Ensure safe cash handling for all transactions
- Report on petty cash and payment activities
- Assist in preparation of actual cash outflow report
- Assist in bank account open/close, signatories changes in banks.
- Monitor daily bank balances to ensure sufficient balance to process payments
- Review and verify all documentation prior to processing payments
- Arrange supporting documentation required for signatories to justify funds transfer
- Assist in other tasks assigned by the line manager and Finance function projects from time to time
- Implementation and smooth execution of projects
- Relationship with banking institutions
- 2 - 3 years' work experience in accounting, treasury or relevant financial field
- Working knowledge of SAP & MS Office
- Solid knowledge of cash management principles and optimizing cash balances
- Strong math and computer skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability
- Working knowledge of SAP & Microsoft Office applications
- Familiarity with telecom industry is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration or relevant field from a recognized university
- Professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA preferred but not mandatory

B. CONTEXT
Purpose: The Treasury Specialist is responsible for responsible for handing employee reimbursements, site lease and other vendor payments, ensuring all payments are made in time for month end closing and payment run.
Context: The Finance Department sets the strategic direction and runs day to day operations of all finance, procurement and supply chain activities. Finance Department also ensures the company growth plans are managed from a financial perspective and profit targets are achieved within an acceptable level of risk.
This role is part of the Treasury division of Finance and reports to the Treasury Manager. The Treasury supports U9's solid financial standing by ensuring that collections and payments are accurate, accounted for and made without delays.
