A. PROFILE

Role Title: End to End Supervision Senior Specialist 
Reporting to: Deployment Manager

B. CONTEXT

Purpose: Ensure the efficient, timely, and cost-effective rollout of telecommunications network infrastructure. This includes deploying physical and logical network elements.
ContextOperates within the technical operations and network engineering ecosystem of a telecommunications service provider. Their role sits at the intersection of network planning, field implementation, vendor coordination, and regulatory compliance, and is crucial to expand and maintain service delivery.

C. ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Follows the daily site visit plan provided by the supervisor; prepares site access and checklists.
  • Align with U9 and creates the route plan based on priority HUB sites and allocates sites to engineers.
  • Physically inspects sites; visually checks equipment status ; documents findings (photos, notes). Guide and assist teams for power I&C and day-to-day operation requirement on technical issues
  • Defines the scope of inspection (what to look for); briefs the team on specific risks or focus areas per site type.
  • Uses checklists/tools to record data; fills reports on site conditions discrepancy, Identifies and logs issues - align with vendors to punch points for rectification in parallel Informs the supervisor of major findings immediately
  • Reviews submitted reports for accuracy and completeness; compiles data into daily summary reports for management , Monitors, controls, and follows up on open findings until they are permanently resolved by the relevant team
  • Follows H&S rules during inspections including sites environment; wears PPE; avoids hazardous areas without clearance.
  • Ensures all Health and Safety procedures are followed by team members during daily operations; reports safety violations found during inspections.
  • Checks sites against U9 quality standards (e.g., labeling, cabling tidiness, grounding, cleanliness); notes deviations in the report.
  • Guides teams on U9 expectations; inspection a sample of sites to ensure the team's findings are accurate and consistent with standards.
  • Travels to sites within the assigned region; manages time efficiently to complete all planned inspections.
  • Able to travel around the assigned region for spot checks, joint inspections, or to investigate complex findings.



D. KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

  • Align with U9 and arrange schedule for sites inspection.
  • Define and update for scope of inspection.
  • Review report and track progress till closure and for spot checks.
  • Escalate to U9 Management team for Critical finding points and organize till closure.
  • Weekly reporting to higher management



E. WORKING RELATIONSHIPS & DECISION MAKING

Interacts with: 
Internal: Deployment manager, PMO, Deployment Engineers, Regional Managers, Planning team, Procurement and Finance, SAQ department

External: Subcontracting partners

Decision Making

This could be information on project timelines, resources available, site conditions, vendor performance, or technical specs.

F. EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience & Essential Knowledge

  • 4+ years of experience in telecom network deployment or field engineering.
  • Operation & Maintenance of Mobile Network
  • Strong understanding of mobile network architecture (2G/3G/4G/5G), fiber networks (FTTX), and/or IP transport systems.
  • Hands-on experience with deployment tools, telecom equipment, and test instruments.
  • Familiarity with relevant standards and regulations
  • Project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel to field sites as required.

Minimum Entry Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
