QC Compounder / Batcher

Union Beverage Packers (UBP) is looking to hire compounders and/or batchers to operate equipment that blends raw materials to create beverage products to exact specifications. You will be responsible for weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients to standards. You will perform routine tests (under the direction of Quality Control) to ensure that the resulting mixture meets specified properties and consistencies. You will keep a sterile environment while recording test data and communicating modifications to the manufacturing process to eliminate any irregularities.

Job Responsibilities/Function:

  • Obtain ingredients from ingredient cage and cooler
  • Pre-Weigh ingredients for each batch
  • CIP sugar, mixing and syrup tanks
  • Clean the external part of the tanks
  • Complete batching sheets
  • Mix ingredients to produce syrup for Production
  • Maintain a clean work area
  • Return partial and unused ingredients to ingredient cage
  • Pull water samples from mixing and syrup tanks for tasting
  • Receive Sugar Trucks
  • Follow GMP’s and Food Safety Guidelines
  • Report any urgent Quality or Food Safety Incident to responsible Personnel
  • Follow Safety Rules in Manufacturing Facility
  • In the event of vacation or extended absence the Quality Control Batcher duties will be covered using overtime (other Quality Control Batcher).

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Able to Work in Team-Oriented Environment
