SAP BTP Integration Consultant (Hybrid Lisbon or Oporto)
Location: Lisbon or Oporto (Hybrid 2 days/week onsite)
Contract Duration: 1 year (with possible extension)

Are you an experienced SAP Integration expert passionate about building secure and scalable integration solutions on SAP BTP? Were looking for a SAP Integration Suite Consultant to join our agile team and lead key integration projects using SAP BTP services like Cloud Integration (CPI) and API Management.

What Youll Do:
  • Design, develop, and deploy APIs using SAP Integration Suite & API Management
  • Build secure and efficient integrations between SAP and non-SAP systems
  • Integrate BTP applications with SAP ECC/S4HANA (no core modifications)
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize integration flows
  • Work with modern cloud authentication (OAuth2, SAML, JWT)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business needs and technical solutions
  • Follow SAP best practices and enterprise architecture standards
  • Keep documentation up to date and follow DevOps practices (CI/CD, Git)

What Were Looking For:
  • Strong experience with SAP Integration Suite, especially CPI
  • Solid understanding of SAP ECC/S4HANA integration
  • Hands-on with modern languages: Node.js, Java, JavaScript or TypeScript
  • Familiarity with SAP Fiori/UI5 development is a plus
  • Experience with API Gateway, OAuth2, and secure API design
  • Knowledge of protocols: SOAP, REST, OData, IDoc, RFC
  • Understanding of event-driven architecture (Event Mesh, Webhooks)
  • Familiar with SAP Business Application Studio, Transport Management
  • Agile mindset and ability to work independently or in teams
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
  • Fluent English written and spoken (mandatory)
