Microsoft System Server Engineer

Our client in Abu Dhabi is looking to hire a Microsoft System Server Engineer to join their team immediately. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the organizations Microsoft-based server environment, ensuring stability, security, and high availability of critical systems.

Position: Microsoft System Server Engineer
Location: Abu Dhabi
Salary: AED 7,000 9,000 (All-inclusive) + Medical Insurance
Joining: Immediate

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and manage Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) environments.

• Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies (GPO), and File Services.

• Support and maintain Microsoft O365, Exchange Server, and hybrid environments.

• Manage virtualization platforms such as Hyper-V or VMware.

• Implement system monitoring, patching, and backup solutions.

• Troubleshoot Level 2/3 server and infrastructure issues.

• Maintain documentation, SOPs, and system configurations.

• Support cloud integrations and identity management with Microsoft Azure.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).

• 3-7 years of experience as a System Engineer or similar role.

• Strong expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, GPO, and PowerShell scripting.

• Experience with Microsoft Azure, O365, and cloud security.

• Hands-on experience with Hyper-V / VMware virtualization.

• Knowledge of backup solutions, disaster recovery planning, and system monitoring tools.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Certifications

• Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)

• Microsoft Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate

• M365 Enterprise Administrator Expert

• VMware VCP certification (advantage)
