About the Role

We're hiring a dedicated, career-minded sales professional to own remote sales and client communication for a fast-growing Christmas light installation company during its peak season (October–December). Lead volume scales sharply in this window, and this role exists to keep response times fast, quotes moving, and clients well cared for — without pulling the owner away from running operations.

This is not an entry-level task role. We're looking for someone who can ramp quickly, work independently, and operate at a high caliber from week one.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Quoting

• Handle inbound leads from multiple channels: website (organic and AI/search traffic), Facebook ads, Google Ads, Thumbtack, yard/bandit signs, and affiliate referrals (We Hang Lights, Chicagoland).
• Qualify leads and prepare and send quotes quickly, avoiding response lag during high-volume periods.
• Follow up proactively on open quotes to improve close rates across all lead sources.
• Own most of the remote sales process during peak season, from first contact through booked job.

Customer Communication & Client Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for client communication throughout the season, especially during volume spikes.
• Support January rebooking and promotional outreach, including post-season follow-up and requoting.

Systems & Operations Support

• Work within Jobber daily; may also support GoHighLevel workflows.
• Coordinate with installers and the existing Jobber admin, staying focused on sales/client tasks without overloading admin responsibilities.

Coverage, Hours & Structure

• Evening coverage required, including 7–9 PM.
• This is a dedicated role — we need reliable, consistent capacity, not availability shared across multiple other clients.
• Volume and hours scale up significantly Oct–Dec (peak season) with lighter, ongoing work in the off-season, including January rebooking.

What We're Looking For

• Experience in home services sales; Christmas lights or seasonal/outdoor services experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with Jobber preferred; strong candidates without it will receive structured, Jobber- and Christmas-light-specific training.
• Comfortable operating in a high-volume, fast-paced, seasonal sales environment where lead flow can spike quickly.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• A career-oriented sales professional, not someone looking for basic task work — self-directed, accountable, and quick to learn.
