Position: Bookkeeper & FP&A Analyst
Location: Remote
We are a growing roofing roll-up platform based in Utah, currently operating Olympus Roofing (residential and commercial services in Salt Lake City) and actively acquiring additional roofing companies. Over the next 5–6 years, we are building a portfolio of 6+ businesses supported by a centralized shared services hub covering accounting, finance, marketing, HR, and administrative functions.
We are seeking a career-focused finance professional who can own both day-to-day bookkeeping and forward-looking financial planning & analysis (FP&A), and grow with us as the organization scales.
Core Responsibilities
Bookkeeping & Expense Management (Accuracy & Controls)

Own QuickBooks Online for Olympus Roofing and future acquired entities

Implement and maintain proper use of classes (e.g., Residential vs. Commercial) for accurate financial tracking

Clean up and manage uncategorized transactions and prevent future backlogs

Manage Divvy/Bill spend management, including:

Reviewing transactions for correct coding (class, category, job, etc.)

Following up on missing receipts and clarifications

Ensuring all expenses are fully documented

Perform regular reconciliations (bank accounts, credit cards, loans)

Coordinate with external tax CPA firm by preparing clean books and required schedules
FP&A – Planning, Budgeting & Financial Insights

Turn historical financials (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) into actionable insights

Perform variance analysis vs. prior periods and budgets
-
Identify trends, cost issues, and margin improvement opportunities

Build and maintain budgets and forecasts, including:

Revenue, margins, overhead, and EBITDA
-
Scenario modeling (growth initiatives, equipment purchases, seasonality)

Develop cash flow projections to support decision-making
-
Evaluate cash vs. financing options
-
Prepare clear financial reports and dashboards, including:

Monthly/quarterly performance vs. budget
-
Key roofing business KPIs (job margins, close rates, overhead ratios, etc.)
Partnership & Scaling

Work directly with the two owners (acting as strategic CFOs) to support business decisions

Recommend improvements to chart of accounts, classes, and reporting structures
-
Help build standard processes and SOPs for rollout across future acquisitions

Grow into a senior FP&A or Accounting/Controller role as the company scales

Assist in onboarding additional accounting staff in the future
Ideal Candidate Profile

Strong experience with US-based bookkeeping (QuickBooks Online required)
-
Experience or strong aptitude in FP&A (budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, cash flow modeling)

High attention to detail with an ownership mindset

Comfortable working in the roofing/home services industry (or eager to learn)

Strong English communication skills

Able to balance hands-on accounting work with strategic financial analysis
