Position: Social Media Graphic Designer & Video Editor
Overview
We are looking for a dedicated full-time Social Media Graphic Designer & Video Editor to join our growing marketing team. This role will serve as the primary creative support person responsible for producing engaging social media content, editing short-form videos, and maintaining a consistent brand presence across all platforms.
We're looking for one dedicated team member who takes ownership of creative production and helps remove bottlenecks, allowing leadership to focus on strategy and growth.
Key Responsibilities
Video Editing
- Edit short-form content for Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other social platforms.
- Repurpose long-form recordings into engaging short-form content.
- Create thumbnails, reel covers, captions, and supporting visual assets.
- Ensure content is optimized for engagement and platform best practices.
Graphic Design
- Design social media graphics, story templates, carousel posts, and promotional assets.
- Maintain brand consistency across all content.
- Work within an established brand kit and visual guidelines.
- Create visually compelling content that aligns with marketing objectives.
Content Production Support
- Follow content calendars and production workflows.
- Deliver creative assets accurately and on time.
- Collaborate with the marketing team while taking ownership of assigned projects.
- Adapt quickly as processes and systems evolve.
Qualifications
- Strong graphic design experience focused on social media content.
- Proven experience editing short-form social media videos.
- Strong understanding of social media trends and platform requirements.
- Ability to maintain consistent branding and visual identity.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, and accountable for deliverables.
Tools & Platforms
- Canva (required; Canva Enterprise experience is a plus)
- Hootsuite awareness is preferred
- Asana experience is a plus but not required
