About the Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Licensing & Compliance Coordinator to support the licensing and compliance operations of a growing U.S.-based home services company.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring corporate, contractor, and local business licenses remain active and compliant across multiple jurisdictions. You'll work closely with the VP of Compliance and internal teams to manage licensing requirements, maintain accurate records, and support regulatory compliance initiatives.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys administrative work, research, documentation, and ensuring processes are completed accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities

Licensing Administration

  • Prepare, submit, and track new license applications and renewals.
  • Maintain corporate, contractor, and local business licenses in good standing.
  • Research licensing requirements across various states and local jurisdictions.
  • Ensure licensing deadlines are met and monitor upcoming renewals.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Maintain organized and accurate licensing records.
  • Ensure all licensing documentation is complete and up to date.
  • Stay informed of licensing regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Research new licensing requirements and regulatory updates as needed.

Certificate of Insurance (COI) Coordination

  • Request, upload, and maintain Certificates of Insurance (COIs).
  • Coordinate with licensing offices and internal teams regarding COI requirements.
  • Assist business units with COI-related requests and compliance.

Administrative Support

  • Respond to internal licensing and compliance inquiries.
  • Prepare reports and maintain tracking spreadsheets.
  • Provide administrative support to the VP of Compliance.
  • Assist with special projects and other compliance-related initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in licensing, permitting, regulatory compliance, or a related administrative role.
  • Experience with contractor licensing or permitting processes is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of Certificate of Insurance (COI) processes is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently.
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to complete detailed forms accurately while maintaining confidentiality.
