Estimator / Supplementer

We're looking for a Roofing Estimator / Supplementer who combines strong technical accuracy with excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate is proficient in Xactimate and has a keen eye for detail—capable of reviewing scopes, identifying missed items, and preparing supplements that ensure fair and accurate project valuation.


You'll collaborate closely with project managers, insurance adjusters, and homeowners to ensure estimates are complete, compliant, and aligned with both company standards and carrier requirements.


WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Estimating & Scope Review – Prepare, review, and finalize estimates using Xactimate with high accuracy.
Supplement Management – Prepare and submit supplements to insurance carriers, negotiating approvals when necessary.
Communication & Coordination – Communicate clearly and professionally with homeowners, adjusters, and internal team members.
Documentation & Compliance – Ensure all estimates, supplements, and correspondence are properly logged and organized in the CRM/project management system.


WHO WERE LOOKING FOR
3+ years of experience in roofing estimation, insurance restoration, or a related construction field.
Proficiency in Xactimate (Level 2 or higher preferred).
Strong understanding of roofing systems, materials, and code compliance.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience working with insurance carriers, adjusters, or restoration companies.
High attention to detail and accuracy in scope writing and supplementing.
Familiarity with CRM/project management tools (e.g., AccuLynx, JobNimbus, CompanyCam, or equivalent).


Bonus: Experience with commercial roofing or multi-trade estimates (siding, gutters, interior), basic knowledge of residential insurance claims processes and documentation standards and strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with adjusters and vendors.
