Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Health & Safety Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining health and safety programs and policies to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
Key Responsibilities

Implement and maintain workplace health & safety programs

Ensure compliance with OSHA and local, state, and federal regulations

Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments

Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses and recommend corrective actions
-
Maintain safety records, reports, and training documentation
-
Lead safety training, toolbox talks, and new-hire orientations
-
Monitor PPE usage and support emergency response procedures
-
Assist with workers compensation and return-to-work programs

Serve as a resource for employee safety concerns
Qualifications
-
1–3+ years of health & safety experience (manufacturing/industrial preferred)
-
Knowledge of OSHA standards and workplace safety practices
-
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office and safety reporting tools

Bachelors or Associates degree in Safety, Health, or related field preferred
-
CPR/First Aid and OSHA certifications a plus
