Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Health & Safety Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining health and safety programs and policies to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain workplace health & safety programs

• Ensure compliance with OSHA and local, state, and federal regulations

• Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments

• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses and recommend corrective actions

• Maintain safety records, reports, and training documentation

• Lead safety training, toolbox talks, and new-hire orientations

• Monitor PPE usage and support emergency response procedures

• Assist with workers compensation and return-to-work programs

• Serve as a resource for employee safety concerns

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of health & safety experience (manufacturing/industrial preferred)

• Knowledge of OSHA standards and workplace safety practices

• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and safety reporting tools

• Bachelors or Associates degree in Safety, Health, or related field preferred

• CPR/First Aid and OSHA certifications a plus
