This role is responsible for sharing the accountability of the program's performance with a peer Senior Program Manager. The peer manager will concentrate mainly on managing the internal operations of the Document Specialists and (Non-Clinical) Case Manager team. Meanwhile, this role will primarily handle external program partner communications through Specialty Pharmacy Liaisons and data analysis.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee high-volume production workflow and ensure accuracy and quality of data and communication

  • Lead recruitment, motivation, retention, and management of team to minimize turnover

  • Proactively measure and communicate program performance metrics to senior management

  • Identify potential risks in program operations and develop and implement mitigation plans

  • Manage Nurse Advocate interactions with patients and drive adherence support

  • Foster and maintain relationships with Specialty Pharmacy Liaisons and analyze program data for insights and strategy

Direct Reports:

  • 6 direct reports: 2 Data Analysts, 2 Specialty Pharmacy Liaisons, 2 Supervisors

  • Approximately 20 indirect reports: 20 Nurse Advocates


The primary responsibility of this role is to manage Nurse Advocates, data analysts, and Specialty Pharmacy Liaisons. These individuals are responsible for ensuring high-quality patient interactions, accurate and complete data, and effective communication with the clients' network specialty pharmacies. The goal is to successfully enroll patients onto therapy, with a particular focus on commercial therapy. Effective management of both data and specialty pharmacy relationships is essential for achieving this objective.

The following are the roles and their corresponding functions:

Program Supervisor (2 positions) - These individuals manage the Nurse Advocates, providing coaching, training, and performance management.

Nurse Advocate (20+ positions) - RNs who serve as the primary point of contact for patients in the program. They educate patients on program services, product information, benefits coverage, and provide virtual product injection training. They also offer ongoing adherence support.

Specialty Pharmacy Liaison (2 positions) - These individuals act as the communication link between the program and network specialty pharmacies. They identify any potential delays in therapy initiation and work to resolve them. They also look for opportunities to improve processes between the program and pharmacies.

Data Analyst (2 positions) - These individuals are responsible for all data trading partner relationships and data feeds. They ensure data completeness and accuracy, and use data analytics to identify program trends and provide insights. The Commercial Insights Analyst has previous company experience and manages reporting output as presented within PowerBI.
