In this pivotal role, you'll collaborate closely with patients, healthcare providers, and client partners, leveraging your expertise to drive success in a high-volume pharmacy environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Pharmacy Operational Management:

- Direct and optimize both frontend and backend pharmacy operations, ensuring seamless daily activities.

- Innovate and refine operational workflows to enhance efficiency and maintain top-tier employee performance.

- Utilize key performance indicators (KPIs) to pinpoint improvement opportunities and implement strategic solutions.

- Ensure strict compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Team Leadership:

- Lead and mentor pharmacy staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.

- Provide comprehensive training and development initiatives for personnel growth.

- Develop workforce management tools to ensure optimal staffing levels and utilization.

- Conduct performance evaluations and address any performance issues proactively.

Strategic Planning:

- Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and execute strategic plans aligned with organizational goals.

- Contribute insights on industry trends and advancements to inform strategic decision-making.

Budget Management:

- Develop and oversee the pharmacy budget, ensuring financial objectives are met.

- Implement cost-saving measures while upholding the quality of pharmaceutical services.

- Manage policies and procedures related to inventory, prescription processing, and more.

Quality Assurance:

- Establish and maintain rigorous quality assurance processes to uphold the accuracy and safety of pharmaceutical services.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to elevate the quality of pharmacy operations.

- Ensure compliance with legal and ethical guidelines, safeguarding patient confidentiality.

Collaboration:

- Maintain professionalism in all internal and client-facing interactions.

- Serve as the main point of contact for pharmacy operations with internal teams and external clients.

- Facilitate the implementation of new business opportunities, providing valuable feedback and insights.

Technology:

- Leverage pharmacy management software and technology to streamline operations.

- Evaluate and implement strategies to enhance automation and efficiency.

- Ensure proficient use of pharmacy management systems and other software tools.

Must-Have Requirements:

- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy or a related field (PharmD preferred).

- Minimum 7 years of proven experience in pharmacy operations management and/or delivery operations.

- 5 years of experience in the healthcare industry.

- Current, unrestricted KY Pharmacist License.

- Previous personnel/team management experience.

- Additional state licensure preferred.

- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.

- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

- Flexibility to travel as needed.

This position is onsite in the beautiful Louisville, KY metro area. Relocation package is available for the right candidate!
