Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Irrigation Crew Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in irrigation systems, landscaping, and equipment operation. The Irrigation Crew Leader will be responsible for overseeing irrigation repairs, inspections, and maintenance, as well as performing various landscaping duties. This position requires a dedicated professional with a strong work ethic and a passion for outdoor work.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a crew to complete irrigation and landscaping tasks efficiently.
  • Perform irrigation system repairs, inspections, and maintenance, including fixing broken heads and troubleshooting issues.
  • Maintain knowledge of and work with 2-wire irrigation systems.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure irrigation systems are functioning properly.
  • Oversee landscaping duties, including planting, mulching, and yard cleanup.
  • Operate and maintain equipment such as trucks, trailers, and skid steers.
  • Ensure all work is performed to company standards and customer satisfaction.
  • Train and mentor crew members to develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and address any concerns or questions.

Qualifications:

  • 5-6 years of experience in irrigation system installation, repair, and maintenance.
  • Knowledge and experience with 2-wire irrigation systems.
  • Proficiency in fixing broken irrigation heads and troubleshooting system issues.
  • Experience with landscaping tasks, including planting, mulching, and yard cleanup.
  • Ability to operate trucks, trailers, and skid steers safely and efficiently.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting, digging, and standing for extended periods.
  • Capability to operate and handle landscaping equipment and tools safely.
