We are seeking an experienced Safety Manager to lead and support our safety initiatives across the organization. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining safety programs that ensure compliance with all regulations while fostering a strong culture of safety in the field and across all teams.

Responsibilities
• Implement and maintain comprehensive safety policies and procedures in accordance with state and federal regulations and company standards.
• Update and develop safety programs as needed or assigned.
• Conduct regular safety training sessions for employees, including OSHA 10/30 and First Aid/CPR.
• Perform routine site inspections and audits to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare safety reports detailing findings and follow-up actions.
• Partner with field leaders to ensure proper implementation of safety programs.
• Investigate accidents and near-misses, conduct root cause analyses, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and stay current on changes impacting the landscaping industry.
• Oversee procurement, maintenance, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Work closely with field teams, leadership, and HR to promote a strong culture of safety.
• Prepare and present safety performance reports, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a safety role, preferably in landscaping or construction.
• OSHA 10/30 certification required; additional certifications such as CSP or CHST preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, safety best practices, and risk management principles.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to train, influence, and motivate employees at all levels.
• Spanish speaking skills strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to risk mitigation.
